Ps Ray and Mrs. Zelda McCauley are the Senior Pastors of Rhema Bible Church North, a multiracial congregation situated in Randburg. Ps Ray’s first church service was held at the home of his parents attended by 13 people; today the church has an approximately 45 000 strong congregation with an attendance of over 17 000 every Sunday.  Ps Ray’s life-enriching wisdom and relevant messages are highly sought after by South Africa’s famous and powerful. Ps Ray and Zelda have traveled extensively locally and internationally.

Pastor Ray and Mrs. Zelda McCauley host the Rhema Women’s Conference annually – one of the largest of its kind in South Africa – a highlight of the year featuring anointed Guest Speakers, the powerful ministry of the Word, outstanding Worship and highly acclaimed Guest Artists.  Undoubtedly one of South Africa’s foremost and influential church leaders, Pastor Ray and his wife Zelda love South Africa and the Continent of Africa, desiring to see lives changed and empowered by the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ.

**Ps Ray McCauley is the President of Rhema Family Churches and the I.F.C.C. and the Co-Chairperson of the National Religious Leaders Council (NRLC) of SA.

Meet Our Speakers

Ps Charné is “wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, disciple, disciple-maker and recently added to this list – grandmother” – all of these extravagantly so!  Her great passion for the Lord and His Kingdom is evident in every role she takes on.  She currently pastors at 3C Ministries in South Africa with the love of her life, Ps Bert. They have three sons Pearson (25), Damian (20) Tristan (17) and three daughters Caitlyn (9), Jordan (8) and Madison (6). Pearson is married to Blessing and they have two beautiful children – Nayo (4) and Josiah (2).

3C was founded in a school hall in the capital city of Pretoria in 2000. Ps Charné, a qualified Chartered Accountant, left a successful business career to join her husband Ps Bert in fulltime ministry in 2002. Starting with only a few people, the church has grown to over 25 000 members and 2 000 cells. With more than 40 services across the different campuses, satellite sites and prisons, many are reached with the gospel every weekend.

Pastor Charné Pretorius

Dr Gustav Gouws

Gustav obtained his Doctorate (cum laude), in Ecumenical Studies & International Relations from the University of Pretoria, following his research in Geneva, Switzerland. He also has degrees in Philosophy and Psychology. Abe Bailey Scholar. He lectured at the University of South Africa (4 years) and the University of Pretoria (4 years) and has published two academic books.

Executive Coaching: Gustav acts as a life coach for a number of senior executives. He has developed the Diamond Profiling© technique as structuring principle for psychometric information and the Life Mapping© method to integrate life/work planning. Also inter-cultural intelligence coaching for expat-executives. Experienced to do cross-cultural coaching with the help of a translator. He is a well-known author and keynote speaker.

Gustav was born in Namibia and is married to Annelize. They have three daughters: Jana, Nandi & Mila. He is a keen sportsperson (full provincial colours in athletics) and loves scuba-diving, mountaineering, and skiing.

A notable entrepreneur, teacher, author, inspirational figure, and a woman of great faith. Dr. Patience Mlengana is married to Mike Mlengana and they are blessed with three children. She is known for her profound and dynamic Bible teaching. Transcending socioeconomic and denominational barriers, her powerful message of hope resonates among people from every walk of life.

An ordained Pastor, Dr. Mlengana’s commitment to helping others is evident through her lifestyle of service. She founded Patience Mlengana Ministries to alleviate the plight and suffering of the less fortunate in our society, which is a reliable avenue for showing compassion, giving help and services to the poor. She also serves as President of Bill Winston Ministries Africa.

Notable is her work with Leading Ladies with Patience, and Weekly Word and Prayer Meetings with Women in Business and other secular work. Above all her accomplishments, she considers supporting her husband and raising godly children her primary purpose.

Dr Patience Mlengana

Pastor Pushie Watson

Pastor Pushie Watson was born again in 1995 at Rhema Bible Church South Africa and was first introduced to the public as a television presenter in 1997.

In 2003 she surrendered to the call of God on her life and began serving in the ministry as a volunteer in the television department and later in the Women’s Ministry.

In 2006 she attended Bible College and graduated from Rhema Bible Training Centre as top academic achiever two years in a row in 2008.

In 2010 she became Head of the Women’s Ministry at Rhema Bible Church, hosting monthly meetings of over 1,000 women as well as an annual conference. She has since gone on to become an itinerant minister, traveling and preaching the gospel.

Pastor Pushie was ordained as a pastor at Rhema Bible Church by Pastor Ray McCauley in July 2012.

Basetsana Kumalo, Executive Chairperson & CEO of Basetsana Women Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd. She holds a Diploma in Executive Education on Global Leadership from Harvard University. She participated in the Leadership and Decision Making in the 21st Century program at Yale University.

She is the producer of Top Billing, Our Perfect Wedding, Date My Family, Diski Divas and Utatakho. In 2011 she was nominated as a Young Global by the World Economic Forum. Basetsana is the Director and Vice Chairperson of the organization Lovelife: South Africa’s largest national HIV prevention organization for young people, Director of The Nelson Mandela Institute for Education and Rural Development and Board member of Joint Aid Management (JAM).

Born in the dusty streets of a village called Ga-Mphahlele in the Limpopo Province, Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala is the former Miss South Africa 2010/11 and Miss World Africa 2010/11 (where she was top 6 for the Miss World pageant out of the 112 contestants from across the globe). Prior to being crowned, Bokang graduated from the University of Johannesburg in Corporate Communication/Public Relations.

Following her reign as Miss South Africa and Miss World Africa 2010/11, Bokang steadily focused on her Public Relations company, Bokang Legacy and later expanded into other business ventures such as becoming an Executive Producer for the most watched talk show in South African television called ZAZIWA which broadcast on SABC 1, opening her Beauty Salon and her events and promotions company SB Powerhouse in partnership with her husband Siphiwe Tshabalala.
